As founder, Robert L. Beers oversees the daily operations of the firm as a chief designer and business manager. Published in several professional magazines and numerous newspapers, he has received numerous awards for his design achievements. Recognized as a specialist in retirement communities, health care facilities and churches, he has successfully led a diverse collection of projects from the first conceptual drawing to the completion of construction. His designs are located throughout not only Pennsylvania and New Jersey but also as far as Georgia. As a tribute to his accomplishments, he was chosen by Penn State University to serve on the Community Advisory Board of the Gerontology Center in the Department of Health and Human Development. In addition, the student lounge at the Evangelical School of Theology, Myerstown, PA has named its lounge after him “The Robert L. Beers Student Lounge.”
